Born in Rheims in 1982, Jaw spent his childhood in Algeria, and later in southeastern France where he discovered graffiti in the late 90's. After higher studies of visual communication at Axe Sud arts school in Marseilles, Jaw joined the collective DMV (Da Mental Vaporz). He moved to Berlin in 2014, refocusing his attention from the street to his studio, developing more intimate work on canvas.
